The History of Lord Krishna

Lord Krishna is one of the most popular deities in sanatan dharma Hinduism. The history of Krishna is the longest history of any god in the Hindu religion. Lord Krishna lives for an age of 1000 years on earth. The Lord was born on 8th August 2, 3, 4 BCE in a house called Kishkindha. The location of the house is Keshopeshwara temple in Mathura city. Keshopeshwara temple is situated in between River Yamuna and River Ganges. Gokul is one of the nearby places of Keshopeshwara temple.

Lord Krishna was born to King Devaki and the husband King Vasudeva in Mathura City. He is the 8th child of King Devaki and King Vasudeva. He was born in a holy garden named Kishkindha and that is the place where Lord Krishna performed many miracles from his childhood days. On the very next day of Krishna’s birth, Lord Krishna performed the ceremony of the horse-sacrifice known as “Hire-niyam.” As this was the eighth horse-sacrifice, the ninth day of the month of Chaitra was celebrated as the day of the Lord’s birth.

Krishna has many different names like as Govinda, Mukunda, Madhusudhana, and Vasudeva. He was also known as Krishna-Bhakti-Vishnu.

Krishna is the God for cow and animal protection. Lord Krishna is the father of all the animals and the world animals. Every animal lives in the peace and harmony by observing the holy rules and regulations of the Lord Krishna. Everyone are very fond of animals. Each and every person wants to have an animal.
